High pitched buzzing noise with fan on

This morning when I started my car up there was a somewhat loud buzzing noise coming from behind the glove box area. I turned off the fan and it went away so I'm thinking it has something to do with the fan that pushes air into the cabin. Kind of sounded like a leaf or maybe water.

How can I get to it?

I'm going to go take off the glove box since I know the cabin air filter is behind it and take a look around.

Pull the glove box out as if you were going to replace your cabin air filter. The filter sits right over your cabin fan, so you will likely find the culprit there. You may want to consider replacing the filter while you are in there.

I once had that on a car...kept running fan at full blast and eventually a small sticker came flying out the vent.

Well I pulled out the filter and only found a tiny leaf and a couple pine needles along with a dusty filter which I vacuumed. But there were a few drops of water coming from the black tubing leading from outside (I think) into where the fan is. Could this be from running the A/C for the first time in a while? Or, since its been raining, could water make it in there?
The filter was damp in some areas so water must be getting in somehow
