Default 06 sti starting problem

Im new to the subby world and looking at some advice on what the problem could be. Car has started perfect every day every time went today and washed the car off nothing out of the ordinary well when i got back in the car to start it all the lights come on everything normal but when i went to start it there was nothing no sound out all. So i waited a second maybe thinking my foot wasnt all the way on the clutch and tried again and it started fine. Went to eat afterwards car started fine. Drive it to the store and get back in it and it wont start again but this time it never would start. So i had to push start it to get it home get it home turn it off and try to start it again and it starts fine. any ideas what it could be

possibly bad starter contacts but also check your battery and terminal connections

It sounds like the clutch pedal switch is sticking - this happened to mine. Next time it won't start, try kicking the clutch pedal a few times while holding the key turned. If it suddenly starts, replace the switch that interrupts the ignition (there are two of them, and it's the one on top). Or just cut the wires off it and splice them together, like I did mine. Then you'll never have that problem again.

Well, if it doesn't do ANYTHING when you turn the key, and then it cranks when you kick the clutch pedal, it's obviously something clutch-pedal related. So that's where I'd look.
