Default Can anyone recommend a salesman?

Does anyone here recommend a good sales person to talk to about getting a new WRX? Im planning on trading in my G37 in the next few months for a new WRX.

I went to the new Subaru store on Bell Rd today and was completely ignored by the sales staff there, just like I was last year when I was shopping for a new car. They must do well over there. They had one WRX on the lot but it was locked up so I couldnt check out the inside.

I know the Chandler store is friendly to us. Do we have a SWIC contact there?

Nice, are you going to get rid of the G?

Shemoves (Steve)

He is one of the nicest guys here. I know he was selling cars a while back. He's been on nasioc for years.

I know Steve. I thought he got out of the sales business.

I am getting rid of the G. It is a really nice car but I just dont enjoy driving it as much as my old WRX. My main reason for getting rid of the old WRX was back seat room for the kid and the new ones have just as much room as my G so why not.

Its gonna take some good dealin to make this work but I think its possible if the salesman is willing to give me a good trade in.

I ordered my car through Morgan at Subaru Superstore. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Sometime last year my brother and I were there for a service appointment and Morgan sat down and talked to us about the STIs for a while even though he knew neither of us were buying at that time (and we both are fairly young, 25 and 26).

I worked with Alex (Sales Manager) as well and he's a pretty cool guy. They both took real good care of me.

John Barfield @ Camelback Subaru is awesome. I bought my STI through him.

I've also dealt with Subaru Superstore sales/manager/owner and they were all real easy to talk to and work with.

I'd say stay away from Peoria and Scottsdale (esp. Snottsdale--hope they go out of business soon). They seem like they just really couldn't care less about selling you a car.

Ive been talking with the head honcho guy Richard over at Chandler. I gave him the run down and he is going to get back with me to see if the deal is possible. I have a pretty significant negative equity with my trade in so we will see. Richard has been straight forward with no BS and the fact that he took time out of his day to help me says a lot about him and his business.

Chandler is a great place. If I buy something new in the future it would be there if they sold it.

Got a painless/good deal at Camelback and more for my trade going through Dwayne Updike. Power in Scottsdale is the same bad joke it's been for years now, avoid it like a fresh outbreak of herpes.

+1 for Chandler.
I dealt with George Something (stephenhouse... stepanhoplus.... snuffalupagus) or other when I got the 11 STI. I talked with a few other reps when I was testing driving everything. I had an absolutely sick deal on a wrx but ended up with the STI which was not so sick a deal but still good. I'm not going to say these people are saints, but there was a descent amount of respect they afforded me that most other dealerships won't. Also, the service guys have been great. My clutch just went out (factory defect) and it was replaced. Its clear I don't race it and I wasn't treated like it was my fault. Doing the services through them hasn't really been all that bad either. I think you will be in good hands no matter who you deal with at Chandler.

-100 for Bell Rd Subaru by Arrowhead.
They were dick covered dicks in dick sauce. I don't want to go into the details, but I wasn't even allowed to test drive an imprezza. They must practice being idiots because they were damn good at it. I went to Chandler after reading some reviews on this very forum.

They were complete douche's to me too, I pulled up in a Lexus (not that it makes a difference) and was ready to order, but they wouldn't let me drive anything. I live like 2 miles from them, but went to Chandler to buy my car. I got the pleasure of stopping by yesterday..just to let them know they lost a sale.

I dealt with both Richard and Gus Kostapulos at Chandler. Both were very helpful in the ordering and getting an issue corrected for me even through me losing my cool. Felt bad as it was not either of their mistakes, but they definitely went above and beyond during the whole process.

+1 for John Barfield at camelback. They treated me well. Even gave me a chance to discuss my mods with their master tech and gave me Goodspeed's card. Deal was pretty complicated cause I was trading two vehicles one of which was an ATV! So they went out of their way to work with me.
