Default P0244 on missed shift???

Messing around with a 650i on the highway, was going for fourth and hit 2nd accidentally around 90-100 mph. Ending revved like crazy for about a second, obviously. About 5 minutes later during normal driving, I threw this code. Car running fine.

2011 WRX with 15k miles. Relevant mods include AEM CAI, catless turboback exhaust, and stage 2 Cobb map.

I know the code is a result of overboost, but I'm worried about engine damage... Any chance of this, you think? What precautionary steps should I take?

Ya know, because of the tons of cars on roads at 2:00 AM, right? Don't make judgment calls about situations you're not informed about.

I'm pretty sure trying to race any car on any public road at any time makes you a driving doosh.

Keep it simple stupid, buy an automatic camaro

Thanks for Actually talking about my question man. To be honest I'm really not sure how high they got, but i'm guessing 7500 ish. I'm not even sure how fast I was going, i was concentrating on, the road.

I could point out the fact that inferring I drive like a douche all the time based on a quick race that endangered no one not involved is like saying someone is a complete jerk for not holding a door open.

But, this is the internet. So arguing isn't something I'm really interested in.
