Hey guys, need some input here. Today I installed white line steering rack bushings on my 05 wrx. Everything went fine with the install, however, I had my little brother hold the wheel for me while I hooked the u-joint up to the steering shaft. He apparently marveled at the novelty of being able to spin the wheel around and around. I thought nothing of it, told him to stop, and finished the install. So, I put the car back together and got it on the ground for a road test and noticed my air bag light being on. I have a hard time believing that it's a coincidence. so help me out guys. Is there a wire that could have been torn? Any help would be appreciated.

That's what I'd imagine.

You might want to take it in to the dealer and have them look at it... No point in being on the receiving end of a surprise airbag detonation.

1) its not gonna blow up in your face.
2) save yourself money and DONT buy from stealership. Buy one used. I know someone in Danbury who has one. PM me if you want his number.
