Reservation made

I'm guessing you will also see Flipgod, conekillgirl and possibly RSboy if he can take the time off work!

Add 3 Subies to the mix!

Can't wait - it may be the last official road trip for the 08 STi

I've got the itch.........BRZ or STi Limited

Yep, I now have a spare room available in our three bedroom cabin... If anyone is interested it would be a pretty cheap lodging option (and it would help me out in covering the cost of the cabin)...

Let me know!

Unfortunately the wife & I are definitely out. Her company closed the office they had here, she's now unemployed. Hopefully there will be a Dragon WJM Memorial Meet II.

Good friend ... Take care, you will be missed... Hope we can get all the "older members" back together at the dragon again in the coming years and you can make it then

That's unfortunate and completely understandable, Chuck. There will definitely be more meets, hopefully you can make it out to the next one!

Let's not forget the Spirit of the event is to memorialize our lost loved one.

I'm all for the community but for me this is somewhat of a somber event. In fact, if anyone wants to get together to pray about the situation I'd be willing to participate/lead it.

that said, I am looking forward to driving on the Dragon as Will would have wanted it.

Can't believe I've lived in wnc my whole life and never rode the Dragon.
The wife and I got the whole week off plus that weekend. Maybe its time to meet some of you.
I have to ask, and I mean NO offense, but I'm looking to cruise with some responsible folks and not a bunch of asshats. Am I still welcome?
Seriously, if your not an asshat I mean no offense, we're just looking to have some driving fun with like-minded folks.

Looking toward to this as we plan on being in the Pigeon Forge area that week.

ABSOLUTELY YOU ARE WELCOME

This event will have many of the more "senior" members present. We have all had our "asshat days", but most of us that are still around have long since grown out of that "phase" of life... Come on out... There will be plenty of people to hang with that are not interested in being unsafe... Besides, this is an event whose primary focus is remembering Will...

You'll be asked to go home (or at least disassociate yourself from the group) if you're seen crossing the double-yellow line. That's the kind of asshats these guys are.

Good stuff, hope you can make it up. If you need lodging I have a room available in my cabin. I think it has two twin beds though so probably not the best for a married couple ... But cost would be cheap

Looks like we've got about 20 or so. Quite a few from Atlanta are coming up just on Saturday and headed back saturday night.

I hope we do not have to send down a " Lets drag Opie " party to retrieve him.

boxered and fam (3 total) are tentatively in. Still some details to finalize before 100% confirmation.

Any official activities, hiking, rafting, drunken kickball, etc., planned? A cheap idear, tubing at Deep Creek. We had a blast doing this when we were up there in July. Gets a little crowded on the weekends but for $3 (all day tube rental), it's hard to beats.

Oh, need any extras for the food (plates, paper towels and such)? We'll be happy to help out.

drunk kickball for sure. I'd be down for some hiking as well.

Sturdy paper plates and plasticwear will definitely be welcomed.
