Works for me. I'm sure Anthony will chime in on the time and date since he has a better handle on people's schedules.

On a side note, I ordered my BC BR's with Roy last week can't wait to get them on!

I mean in fine with 2nd Friday of the month. I wasn't planning on going to the Faulkner thing but if anyone has any problems with this scheduled day than Def let us know. Whatever works for everyone else works for me.

And yea my car is resting for a lil while. She blew the stock radiator apart and has been squirting anti-freeze all over my clean engine. So FAST may be doing a full mishimoto upgrade (radiator, fans, and blue tubing) real soon. Until than shes out for the count haha

From personal experience, I would stay away from Mishi rad...unless you want to get to know their customer service on a personal basis. And the coolant hoses are more expensive compared to what else is out there.

The most important thing is to figure out why it burst. It could have been a bad cap not letting pressure out, lime build up that's clogging the radiator or it is just time for the OEM one to go. If it's because the pressure was too high in the coolant system then there may be something going on elsewhere. Did it break where the fins are or closer to the cap or hoses? You don't want to buy a new radiator only to find out that the problem is with pressure and you end up blowing a new radiator as well. I'm sure if the guys at F.A.S.T. look at it they'll tell you what's up.

More importantly what were you doing when it went boom?

it's not unheard of for radiators to have leaks upon initial install due to manufacturing defects, not just from Mishimoto. Mishimoto radiators have certainly found success in grueling race environments. Bonus is that they are local (NJ, IIRC) and cheaper than Koyo. I don't know of any other radiator I'd give a try (other than the uber-expensive one-offs from small shops like LIC) because i certainly wouldn't use an eBay special.

Boostin, was their customer service good for you? I fortunately have not had to deal with them, but I have heard that they back up their product with replacements fairly easily. I have the basic 2-core on my STi, but I haven't had a chance to put it through the paces on track yet. Not that I am concerned, since it ran fine for a few months, and if there were any leaks, I'm fairly sure I'd have found them by now.

Customer service is great it's the actual product I have an issue with. Have had a core replaced 3x due to the cores themselves being faulty and leaking. It seems the welds along the lower seams like to essplode and cause leaks. On one of the cores, the filler neck looks to be a pressed fitting and tack welded and it was pressed in crooked which was another failure point. If the 4th core fails (again) would rather take my chances with an "OE" Advanced Auto brand.

Yea OEM one was the rad to go. It split a crack on the black plastic part on the top. On the front part of it close to where it meets with the metal front part of rad. Only sprays out when I'm in boost, but I'm sure it burst because of all the HP my car had got now. That was just about the only thing left besides engine components that is OEM on my car. That fp green 20g said F this lil **** coolant system you got... Haha I have heard a lot of good things about mishimoto and FAST recommended it. Just getting everything at once cause its much easier that way. (Rad, fans, blue tubing, and shroud). She's gonna look even sexier under the hood come this weekend. Than just to swap out the OEM up-pipe and get my pro tune and dyno done. Should be putting up some biggg numbas lol

Marrying inanimate objects is illegal in the states so unless you move to another country with your wheels I think you are SOL >.>

We will have our next meet on May 11th. I will plan to hold this once a month. I will create a thread regarding this so everyone can be updated. I will also update via Facebook so "like" our page. I have also created a group for our Pa Subaru guys on Facebook called Subaru Motor Heads of Pennsylvania Look it up!

Hey everyone,

Haven't been to a meet since I lived in Boston ~8 months ago and have been eagerly waiting for a more convenient meet to get started closer to Philly metro west. I should get my subie back from its 3rd HG replacement by the time the next meet rolls around and if so, I'm definitely going to come by. Glad I finally stumbled across this thread.

Edit: just put in a request to join the FB group.

I'm in for the May 11th meet. I just discovered this thread and it is definitely a good idea to get a meet going in West Chester. I seem to see so many subies driving around this area.

Yea exactly my thinking. First one was very successful around 40-45 cars. Hopefully should be more this time around. Dave from FAST is starting a new thread under FAST page. You can also check it out on FAST's Facebook. See ya there bro

I would be down for going to the meet, but I will be at the DirtFish Rally School. I'll try to make the next one for sure!
