Default 05 WRX 16g-XT

Numbers
Dyno: AWD Mustang 1100 Dyno
Tuner: Keith at AWDtuning
Wheel HP: 237 (242.1 w/ WCF)
Wheel TQ: 238 (240.7 w/ WCF)
Boost: 20 psi and tapers to 18 *updated*
Ambient Temp: ~85* Texas night

Car Info
Year: 2005
Engine Management: Open Source
Turbo: Blouch 16g-XT
Intercooler: WRX TMIC
Meth Kit: NA
Injectors: Modified stock
Intake/Inlet: Stock
Headers: Stock
Uppipe: Grimmspeed non EWG
Downpipe: Grimmspeed
CBE: eBay 3" Cobb Replica
Other Power Mods: Walbro Fuel Pump, Grimmspeed BCS, Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch
Fuel: 93 Octane

The car feels absolutely amazing . Keith and the crew did a phenomenal job at getting the car together and tuned. The stock top mount is really limiting this turbo so once funds improve, that will be addressed (After getting some opinions, I'm thinking STI TMIC+E85 )

**Stock 09 STI numbers on this dyno: 210hp / 220tq**

BUMP!!! New plot coming here for e85 tune. Additions were:

-Perrin FMIC
-KS Tech Stock diameter SRI
-Tigwerks 38mm EWG

Decent numbers for the mods.

I'll tell you though, your inlet, intake and TMIC is really holding you back from making some really good power. When you are ready to make the next step, look into modifying these and re-tune.

Haha, yeah just a few more things left. Front mount sounds nice, but it may be out of my budget. I'm still on the fence on the stock intake. Thanks for the advice!

Looks like you are pulling some timing between 4600-5100 rpm. Probably compensating for that 23 psi; although it would be nice to see a boost curve.

Agree with others that some better supporting mods would help.

23psi on the stock TMIC is a big part of your problem!

Changing the intercooler should get you close to 280-290 on a 2.0.

Get something better than an STI TMIC. Buy a name brand top mount (spearco, aps, etc.) or go with a name brand front mount (aps, turboxs, etc.)

I would love to see a boost curve...

And 50whp (uncorrected???) from a TMIC? Sounds doubtful. I'm not denying an upgrade would help, just that it would help that much.

Just changing the intercooler will not net 40 HP....especially on a Mustang dyno.

Haha I'm sure they'll hook you up, probably send ya a sweet sticker . My previous tune was Stage 2 and this blows it away. But of course I can feel the turbo wanting to unleash but it just can't quite get there haha.

True, just a top mount might not, but that was including switching to e85. It was a guesstimate

It's a new blouch turbo, they had a sale on them that ended on June 30. Afaik it's not on their website yet. It's a 16G with a billet wheel
