CT: 2002 impreza WRX wagon hybrid swap 5 speed
2002 impreza wrx wagon, psm
177k miles and rising
5 speed, no grinds
JDM phase one closed deck EJ20G shortblock - I was told this had only 16k miles on it
stock heads from ej205 WRX - These were stock to this car, 176k miles on them
walbro 255 fuel pump
remote start and alarm with 2 remotes
no other aftermarket parts are on this car, it has not been abused
about 3000 miles on the following:
JDM ej20g headgaskets
EJ205 timing belt and idlers
waterpump and thermostat
oil pan gasket
front O2 sensor (A/F)
valve cover gaskets
it has a stock TD04 with under 20k miles on it
This car is driven EVERY day without any serious problems, but it should get a tune since it is a hybrid. CEL comes on every so often, especially highway, for p0171. over 3.5k rpm the power levels off like it needs more fuel. could also be a vac leak or many other things, but I think just a tune would fix it. completely driveable as is, just don't beat on it until tuned. This car also burns some oil, which I am guessing is the valve seals since the heads were pulled from the original motor, which spun the #4 rod bearing at about 174k miles.
other than that, car doesn't need much to be a daily. ebrake gets funny once in a while, probably needs adjustment. small dent in rear pass side door, paint chip on the front end from highway use, and a tiny rust bubble starting in the typical spot by the rear quarter/bumper. i think its the alternator which makes a funny whistle sometimes only at idle, all small stuff. the car is pretty clean for the mileage.
I'll have to take some pics later
looking to get $6000 obo or trade for a 97-01 outback sport in ok shape + CASH, or old timey vehicles preferably 1964 or older
located in Canton, CT 06019
My girlfriend drives this car while her swap is getting done, so the purple wheels are hers and are not included. I will included stock silver wrx wheels with so-so tires unless i find some better ones to stick on there in the meantime.

I would love to swap the engine components you upgraded in your car with mine and then sell this to a friend who really wants a WRX really badly but is short on money for significantly cheaper. Probably a pipe dream but it is something I am thinking about. Free bump anyways.
