I bet that the trucks that use them for off road racing remove them and clean them after each race.

Probably. I don't troll the off road forums anymore.

I was just addressing the binding issue.

Oh yeah, totally. These types of products definitely work... but they are just like car bra's: With extended use and without constant cleaning underneath, they will cause more damage than prevent.

Fail!!!!!!

That would last all of 5 minutes in a RallyX. Especially if its like the last one I did where I spent 4 hours in a car wash stall.......

Haha, thanks!! I'm still trying to get my measurements good enough to be able to make a set without having the coilovers with me. That way people can just send me some dimensions and I can confident that they'll fit well.

Getting better, but still not perfect!

Hey Man, thanks for the positive comment!
I'm taking a slight break from sewing because I sold my machine to help with my closing costs on my house. I didn't need a industrial machine anyway so when I get a new one, I'll look into a cheaper setup and think about making more of these.
There are still working great and doing their job!

So... just about one year later with these installed on my rear coilovers.
This specifically goes out to:

The people that said they wouldn't last...
The people that said they would make things worse
The people that said they just won't work

Rears had them, fronts didn't

The rear taken off, next to the front. Huge difference!!

Both cleaned up but the rears are in far better shape

Wash your coils, throw your covers in the washing machine, and then reassemble. 3m Scotchguard, and reinstall.

Any benefits to using these on regualr strut setups?

I think they would be tough to fit around the larger springs but since there isn't any adjustable parts, I don't think they would be any use.
