Default Help with my '15 STI not achieving peak boost

So I have a 2015 STI with Cobb SF intake and accessport tuner. At 23k I blew up the original motor. Subaru replaced the short block and turbo and after a few thousand miles I reinstalled the air box and tuner. Recently in the last month or so I started noticing that I was losing speed in 3rd and 4th gear. They didn't have the balls they used to. I messed around with a high waste gate MAP and got her back to a little over 18lbs of boost. That didn't last long and as of last night I am only able to get 11.5 lbs of boost with HW map. When I get to about 6250 rpm it feels like the fuel system cuts off and then I get wacky gauge readings on the a.p. where my DAM adjusts and fine knock learn goes around 3.5. HELP please, turbo systems and tubers are new to me.

have you got some datalogs? if your dam is falling consistently and not staying where it should be, you might have a knocking problem. in the engine management section cobb has a video on how to datalog and a few important things to look at. i'd suggest you watch it and grab some datalogs. your ecu might just be pulling boost becuase you're knocking...in which case running the hwg is only making things worse.

also, what was the cause of the failure on the original short block?

Yes I know how to datalog, but at this point I can't really drive the car anyone, as of today, it's been really bad. I uninstalled the air box and tune and an sending it to subaru tomorrow or the next day for what will hopefully be warranty work. The first failure was an accidental shift into serving l second gear at 85. I dropped the hammer at the same time and blew most of the short block, a few valves and cam sprockets and the turbo. The new short block and turbo have only 18k on them so I hope whatever is causing this issue is not motor or turbo related. Any ideas what could be wrong mechanically?

Didn't fix it. The car is still being worked on. They changed out the wastegate solenoid, no change, seems as if the car is running on mechanical boost only. 9 lbs

*update* if anyone is having this issue it appears as though it is a piston/cylider/cylinder head issue. Subaru said there is a compression leak in motor. Will update when they have final answer.

They are replacing the short block ( Again) and this time they are doing complete heads also both sides. My feeling is when they did the compression test the first time I asked them too they have actually did it because I was told I had ringland failure in 2 cylinders and they don't know how the car was running as good as it was specially without a CEL.

Even if you go back to stock they can still see that it was flashed at some point. So people get denied warranty work all the time for having an accessport even after they go back to stock. If you got 2 new short blocks without them saying anything you are extremely lucky.

Well I don't know if it's luck or not but I HAVE met a few people who HAVE had Stage 1 maps and cold airs only get warranty coverage. Supposedly Subaru is sympathetic as long as the block has never been opened and the exhaust is stock and unchanged.

*Update* the struggle continues. After replacing the short block and the heads Subaru says the car still isn't boosting properly so now another new turbo it's going in. That 2 short blocks now. 1 every 20K. 2 Turbos, same. 1 pair of complete heads. Wouldn't out have been cheaper for them to just give me a new STI?

And a new turbo and ecu swap did not do the trick. Subaru can litteraly not figure out what is wrong with my ride.

After a second turbo the car was given back to me running as good as ever. Then an hour and a half later the cel came on. P2442 secondary air injection valve stuck open back 2. I could cry but I will stay strong for subbie nation! Thank God for warranty.
Yes I have It Is past Lemon law. I could get a lawyer And go for Magnusson moss act though

FYI those "flashes" can be any type of ECU reset. Removed battery terminal to do stereo install...reflashed

Are they telling you they won't fix the car because you didn't bring it to them for maintenence or didn't use Subaru branded oil
