Default Northern Colorado Tuning?

Hey there RMIC! Roadkill here with a question. My car is currently running cobb's OTS stage1 +sf intake map. After the first power jump, mod fever started to set in. I want to take the leap and go for a stage 2 pro-tune, but the only Subaru tuning shop I know of is about an hour away at Flatirons Tuning in Boulder. I've tried searching, but I can't find anything (stupid android app )... I live in Northern Colorado in the Fort Collins/Loveland area. Is there a reputable shop in the area that I can go talk to? Can anyone point me toward a thread where I can find such info? Thanks Rocky Mountain!

I've heard good things about theboostcreep ltd.

That's close to fort collins.

Just to chime in, I blew my stock motor in less than 6 months on Harvey's tune, car had less than 70k on it. I took my new rallispec block in for him to tune, within a month's time, AFR's were all over the place with timing being pulled and plenty of knock present. To each their own, just stating my own experience. When choosing a tuner, it's not only about credibility but also locality. Which it seems like he is local to you. For us SLC scoob owners, its an 8 hour treck across good ol Wyomming. Last time I rolled out, had a shotgun packed with slugs in the back seat. Good luck!

Dude SCR performance is like 10 mins away from you. They will take care of you there. Not the cheapest shop but they do a good job. And their receptionist is cute.

10 mins.? I looked and they are literally less than half of a mile from where I sleep

Thanks WRB19. Anyone else? I want a few shops on hand so in case one isn't what I'm looking for, I can talk to the other.

Well, you got SCR performance, theboostcreep. No one has mentioned metro performance yet, ive talked to them on the phone before to answer some of my questions and they were just so nice and helpfull, they are very family oriented and a small 1 on 1 shop, they were also heaps cheaper then SCR. Ive only heard good things from them too. They specialize in subarus and have the record for Colorados fastest subaru. There shop is in Denver though. Theres also MAC autosports, I havent seen to many subarus tuned by them lately, the ones I have seen were fully built though. I think they tune more evos.

Thanks again WRB19, and all replies. All will be taken into consideration. theboostcreep and SCR performance seem to be the best bests bets so far. Any else? Specifically in Fort Collins?

I also live in fort collins, went to Harvey and like him a lot. Ive got a friend at Metro Performance and really liked what they've done with his car. TOBZ in Denver isn't a true Subie specialist but ive seen some decent tunes come out of there. MAC autosport in Parker or south denver makes really safe and smooth tunes from what ive seen. Its all personal preference and what you are looking to spend!
Hope this helps!

PFI is up here but they only have 2wd dyno... I saw a EVO IX rolling around town rocking a sticker so they may be able to street tune but thats the only shop I know of in the fort collins area. When I got tuned by Harvey I was living in Colorado Springs and drove up to longmont to get tuned... Seemed worth it then, I would still recommend him now

+1 on Harvey. Did my legacy and he's a really friendly helpful guy. Driving from C springs to longmont was always worth it!
