Default Viper 5902 "out of range issue"

Alarm arms itself and remote start is fine. However, the remote device reads "out of range" whenever an action is performed. Has anyone else had this problem?

IIRC this is an issue with the remote or the brain software. I know some of the 5301's had this issue where the remote would say out of range when remotely shutting down the remote start. I'd recommend contacting DEI tech support or having the place that installed it swap out the brains and remotes.
