Default Re Phrased as a question.

I am re posting this because it was recently locked.

I understand that there are different sections for different posts, there are plenty of other posts that fall in to those sections as well and they are not locked. I guess I will put it in a question form.

Went ahead and ordered my AEM EMS today. I cant wait for it to get here. Once it arrives I will be selling my COBB Access port. Does anyone know about how much a used Access port goes for?

I am not trying to cross any lines or disrespect anyone, I just feel that there was no reason to lock the thread. It falls under the "if you dont like it or seem to think it was a pointless post simply click the back button or don't read" I can guarantee that someone else would post positively. So I will apologize once again if anyone feels that this is disrespectful to them in any way.

Cool, did you get plug and play? I always thought the AEM would be a good unit but never had a chance to see one in action.

All you have to do is go to the classifieds and search for them. That I know of they go for around 400

It's probably not a great idea to start a new thread with the same intent after your original was locked, just FYI.

Its not the same intent. Its a question. Besides isn't this forum here for everyone to talk about things? Its not like it is an off topic question.

Depends on age and condition. New they are around $500 + maps.

I would say $350-400 if it is within a year.

There are other ways to search for this. I would've searched in the National Private for sale Classifieds to get a better idea of what they are currently going for.

I paid $500.00 for mine, but it was brand new, never used. If used I'd say what everyone else is saying $350-$400.00.

Why did you have to go to the AEM EMS?

Better tuning ability, launch control, boost by gear, flat foot shifting, anti lag, better overall potential.

i would say check around in the national for sale section, see what they are going for there, supply and demand determine cost on used electronics. normally they dont cose much to ship. if you want an honest guess on cost, take the price for a brand new one and cut it in half.

With the AEM EMS, do you wire in a new harness or does it plug in with the factory harness?

Plug and play with factory harness. you can then disable anything you like and add or swap sensors. AEM is extremely versatile.

You mean to say, mostly the same things your factory ecu can already do?

The latest AEM ECU's are impressive. If I could choke down the initial cost, I think that would be the way to go.

If I diddnt have an 02 with a 16 Bit ECU then yes. But I dont have these options. Besides AEM has WAY more potential than Factory Subaru will ever have.
