Default Messed up paint on 07 wrx.. Options? vinyl ?!!

Hey guys i have a 07 obp wrx. Well we all know Subaru paint sucks... And i hate seeing all these white spots.. well my front bumper has rock chips allll over and my hood also. My hood has defects from previous owner, (dent, bird dropping acid removed paint). Then the rear comes. i took the wing off and need that painted. i already filled the holes. And just recently someone hit me in the parking lot and never got any money or reported it. so with this all said I need my front + rear bumper painted, rear trunk and hood painted. How much will this all cost, and is it worth it? Or i have been thinking about vinyl wrapping the whole car gloss white. which will cost ~$550. What do you guys think I should do?

Just call a few body shops. I'm sure they can give you a price range for the work you want to have done. In the end you get what you pay for. I've never messed with vinyl but nothing looks better to me than a nice glossy paint finish.

I'm going through this right now on my 02 WRX due to vandalism in my apartment complex. The car is in the shop right this moment getting new front/rear bumper, new hood, repainting the trunk, replacing all the plastic body moldings and rubber weather stripping, then going over the whole car and buffing/polishing all the little scratches. The whole job is running me roughly 5 grand. Thankfully the insurance is picking up 2 thousand of it.

If u have the chance to wrap ur whole car for $550, jump on that!! I was quoted for just painting my front bumper last yr, which was ~$550. Lol, but thats mainly cuz its custom paint.. but since ur looking to do the front and rear, id just wrap it, especially cuz even with new paint, it'll still chip. Lol wrap isnt permanent so u can always redo it for cheaper than paint.

this... wrapping an entire car can be EXTREMELY expensive. If I were you, I would have the areas painted that needed it and then get the rest of the car detailed (paint correction). I used opti-coat as have a few others here. It's like a second clearcoat, but harder. It won't stop rock chips from happening, but it will help. You may be able to have the front clear bra'd, though i'm not sure if that stuff will stick to the opti-coat. Rasky may know about that.

I'd go for the paint myself though.
