Civic Si, $1,600 in parts for an extra 7.7ft-lb and a lot more noise.

You've got to get out of the mindset that a round number like 200 is automatically a good goal. Round numbers make for good bragging rights with a turbocharger... but tuning a n/a car is much more about finding an acceptable balance of flexibility and NVH.

The biggest returns on a car like this will be in tuning your driving abilities.
Thanks for the clarification CJ! I'm still very excited for it and I'm sure even without that rounded 200 I won't b disappointed.

Probably going to start autoxing with this car. Just hate the waiting game right now =\.

Is it me or does the hks supercharger kit look like they just went and took the IC out of a evo x???? just seems like a cheap kind of thing for a company like hks to do. just my 2 cents

I posted this in the other thread, but thought it was just as appropriate (if not more) to have it here.

I thought others might appreciate a quick link to the ongoing list of aftermarket parts for the BRZ/FR-S:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...WlvUEFtRDU3T2c

Not mine, but if you want to join the FT86club and let them know of adjustments then you're more than welcome to do so!

You'll either have to order the baby seats from the JDM BRZ catalog or from the Scion FR-S accessories, if I'm not mistaken.

Default BRZ/GT-86 Parts on Japanparts.com

Out of all of the sites Japanparts.com is my favorite for aftermarket JDM because I usually get quick email responses, their site converts the currency, they have good picture representations and good specs (will let you know if wheels clear Brembos, etc.).

They're now starting to have BRZ/GT-86 parts:

http://japanparts.com/db/category.php?dealer=1&car=177

and various HKS parts not unlike the Cusco parts on eBay.

I'm just wanting to know how to order the BRZ STI accessories without having to have a Japanese-speaking friend order on one's behalf direct from a Subaru dealer in Japan. haha

Welcome! You can now also order the JDM clear lens for the front bumper to replace the orange one that USDM gets:

As you all are likely aware, the Subaru BRZ accessories are starting to pop up, not nearly as cool as the full on aftermarket bits.

Spoiler, fender trim, fuel cap cover, rear diffuser, just a handful of bits are available at this time.

We will try to keep you posted as Subaru makes the parts available.

Our suspension packages (adjustable arms, subframes, links, coilovers, top mounts) will be ready in the next 2 or 3 weeks. We are simply awaiting for our BRZ to arrive here in Canada for test fitment before releasing everything.

I have heard several clips of aftermarket BRZ/FR-S/GT86 exhausts in the past few weeks. A lot of them I haven't been impressed with but by far the best I've heard is this one from a guy in Japan. Company is called Auto Factory

Oh, that exhaust is sweet sounding. Sounds like my old wagon.

My wife would kill me, but I can see this being in my driveway sooner than later.

And those look like 245/255s too.
