Default wrap it up! vinyl wrapped my car matte blue.

just kidding, i wrapped it. and i ripped the wing off.

it all started because some ice fell from the roof of my home, and broke the rear glass and damaged a pillar.

so, i fixed that, and all dings and scratches on my car. then it was either paint the entire thing, or wrap it. after all is said and done, i think i should have painted it, THEN wrapped it, but anyway...

(sorry for the iphone pics)

How did they get all that clear off so neatly??

Looks awesome, I haven't really seen a lot of wraps that aren't black or white.

thanks. yes, i did indeed. i was going to do the headlights while they were off the car, but i just wanted to get the car done, i was without it since january. also, i'm actually looking for an affordable lip at the moment.

i have been wanting to do my roof black for a while now, since before the accident. i figured i'd do it now while i did the rest of the car. there's something about black roofs (rooves?) and how they flow with tinted windows... it just does it for me.

well, being in italy, it's very hard to find stuff. i wanted to get 3M 1080 vinyl, but the only colors i had available to me were black, white, that military green that everyone has, and i think silver too.

after MUCH internet browsing, i stumbled upon this http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm...olesalers.html
*EDIT* i did not change the link, but it seems they have changed the shade of blue they stock. it's now more like sky blue, that's not what i have! */EDIT*

its $224 for 1.5x30 meters. i had to pay 50-something euros of customs when it came in, no big deal.
so yea, i used china vinyl. it's just for proof of concept. next time i will go with name brand if they have the right color.

Nice job on the wrapping! It looks clean everywhere, no bubbles. I'm not a fan of the roof, but hey, it's your car not mine.

Wingless also looks great.

Have you dealt with any name brand vinyls? I'm curious how this compares to others.

I really like the carbon fiber but not sure how I feel about the blue, personally would've went with something crazy all over if I was gonna end up wrapping it. looks good nonetheless!

Damn, looks very interesting. How long did it take you to do everything. Did you have to remove every part wrap then re install it, gonna search a DIY, might possibly try this.
