Curious to see what other people say, mines starting to form rust around the neck and I definitely don't want this to happen to me.

If you're looking for the OEM part its listed under PN 21132AA131 on subarugenuine parts.

It seems to happen to all the steel tanks at some stage. That is why Subaru went to plastic tanks for later models. At least on the STi's.

I would replace it with the new plastic version.

I had to replace mine about 5 months ago. Bought a plastic one so I wouldn't have to deal with it again.
