I am not trying to be negative, but your description sounds nothing like the dyno chart. That shows torque peaking at 4,500 rpm, hardly reminiscent of TD04 low end. I don't get it.

also, your DAM is at 13 in the 2nd log you posted....and it was 16 in the first. i'd check the AF learnings, wot AFR, and maybe for leaks cause it seems to be knocking a bit.

This is Deadbolt Super16G on a 150K miles 2.0 liter..

It spools around(no avcs but sti tmic) 3400 rpm and full boost around 3700 rpm and flat through 7000 rpm. S16G is journal bearing 37 lb/min hybrid turbo. I was thinking of buying something similar but 16G XTR has a ultra late spool for a 16G wheel. Sure the FMIC has big role on that. Even a GT3071 can spool better on 2.0 lt.

here is another Blouch 16G XTR to compare, but mine is twin scroll with bigger turbine, its on a stock 2.0 JDM STI engine with stock headers and stock STI top mount, running 93ron fuel with 20% meth

on the road it hits 15psi at 2700rpm and its on full boost 25 psi by 3000rpm

Boost and afr.

^that looks awsome!!! Shoot out mode on a DD is usually like a dynojet number right? So this car would make about 335whp with NO correction factor on that dyno??

Cant really compare that TS turbo on a ej207 to the OP tho

^On a 2.5l this turbo is NOT what you want. You'd proly get stock like spool and a couple extra Hp...not the best bang for your buck

Over a VF52 no, but from a TD04 or VF40 I don't see why not if you not looking for max power.

I'd go with an 18GXT for a 2.5L for autocross. It's a bunch extra HP and not much lost for spool. This turbo is much better suited to the 2.0L.

This may be my next purchase over a slightly used vf43. Those numbers look awesome and still quick spool up. Would be going on a 2.0L as well.

So this turbo would not be as "effcient" on the 2.5L? So the 18XTR would be a better match up.? If Blouch could knock off 250-300$ on the 18XTR like they did on the 16XTR,
that might be the deal for us 2-fivers. I see a shortage of the Boss's shoe money if that happens.

For the 2.5 I wouldn't do anything less than a 20g...
