I still might, but they NEED to go on today, before the other one breaks. I will have to plan a time for the car to be down later for powder coating. I want to do the trailing arms also, and replace those bushings as well...

He told me specifically last time I was there (getting your oil) that they were going to do something special for the 4th of July, and it would be a big first Thursday

Anyone have any idea how much a professional headlight/taillight tinting costs? i know I could do it myself, but I don't want too because I suck at stuff like that.

Also I heard that light tinting may be illegal, any truth to this? There is conflicting info out there. I'm thinking of doing a light to medium dark tint, not blacking them out. Yellow on the fog lights

Thanks...my wife's Sti tails are black, and my fogs are yellow.

Dick.

To answer your questions, it was about $150 to have the tailights done on the wife's STi. I would suggest preofessional installation, unless you are pretty comfortable with this, it's really easy to jack it up. They did an excellent job, and 2 1/2 years later, they still look good as new.

I have actually beaten three tickets for the blacked out tails (Alicia has had them on all three of her STis. The law states that the tailights have to be seen form a certain distance, both in the day and night time. AS long as you can prove that yours meet the requirements for visibility, then they are perfectly legal.
