SUBARU 08+ STI AIR RIDE KIT WITH AUTOPILOT V2 MANAGEMENT
FRONT SUSPENSION: AIR LIFT PERFORMANCE SERIES
REAR SUSPENSION: AIR LIFT PERFORMANCE SERIES
AIR TANK: AIR LIFT 4 GALLON POLISHED
COMPRESSOR: 400C
COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE KIT: STANDARD VIAIR CHECK VALVES
COMPRESSOR SILENCERS: NO
POWER KIT: BUILT-IN SINGLE COMPRESSOR POWER KIT
1/4" SMC WATER TRAP KIT: NO
AIR LINE SIZE: 1/4 INCH

Are the tanks loud that I should really get the silencer? Bigger airline, water trap kit, etc. Which would you say are really needed, which can I definitely do without.
Responded to your PM but for everyone's reference I'll get some info in here

Compressor: Personal choice really. I always break it down simply: the 400C is smaller, louder and faster from 110-150psi (standard operating pressure) than the 444C. If you plan on raising your tank pressure above 150psi (which can be done via the controller with our SwitchSpeed, AutoPilot V2 and e-Level kits) then the 444C becomes the better choice as it will fill above 150psi. The difference in noise output is extremely marginal, either the Air Lift Silencers or AccuAir EXO system will be the difference maker for that.

Compressor Check Valve Kit: VIAIR compressors (like most) have a check valve built into the leader hose. Unfortunately this check valve isn't of the highest quality, and has a bad habit of failing after some period of time. A faulty compressor check valve will result in pressure leaking out of the tank through the compressor, which is an extremely hard leak to track down if you're not aware of that possibility! Also, since the check valve is small, it is more prone to freeze in the winter months due to moisture collecting in the hose. I have SMC check valves on the compressors in my setup and they function flawlessly. You can see them installed on the head of the compressor in my management here:

Compressor Silencer: These are the best way to quiet down an otherwise noisy compressor. The option in our kits is for the Air Lift Part. Another option is the AccuAir EXO mounting system which is compatible with AccuAir air tanks (as the system mounts to the tank itself). Personally I use the EXO system, but the Air Lift silencers are extremely impressive as well! Here's a couple images for comparison:

Air Lift Compressor Silencer Kit ($60 for one pump, $120 for two pumps)

AccuAir EXO Mounting Kit (made for AccuAir products, $175 for single 400c + ecu, $250 for dual 400C)

Power Kit: The power kit built into the V2 wiring harness is sufficient for powering a single pump (it's a 10awg wire). If you go dual pumps, we strongly recommend running a thicker power wire, which is why we offer our 4awg power kit. Our power kits include two different colored wires for power and ground (20ft total), a wire distribution block to keep your wiring neat and tidy, 100a fuse + fuse holder, and all the terminals you need! All packaged nicely in a branded and sealed container

Water Trap Kit: Water traps are an inexpensive means of protecting your manifold, so I recommend running one. For a V2 setup, since you have just one intake port on the manifold, you only need a single water trap. The purpose of the trap is to filter out water (obviously) before it gets in the manifold, but it also filters out debris which is equally important! Little bits of teflon tape or other junk can find its way from the air tank into your manifold, where it can then cause your valves to jam or not close/open completely. This can cause a hard to track down air leak, which is very frustrating. In the winter months, water in the manifold can freeze and have the same effect. For these reasons I suggest water traps as they are a great way to protect the most expensive part of your air ride management (i.e., the manifold/ecu in the case of V2 management).

Air Line Size: Another personal preference. I personally like 1/4" air line because I feel that is smoother to lift/dump than 3/8" and I can more easily make precise adjustments to the pressure in each air spring. Not to mention, when doing the installation, 1/4" air line is easier to route than 3/8" due to its smaller diameter and greater malleability.

Hope this information helps everyone! Feel free to PM or e-mail me with questions. We also have a very in-depth Air Ride FAQ on our website which addresses most of these questions and then some!

That is one of the best looking STi's in my opinion. So simple but so well executed. I love the ccws and lip kit. The ride height is perfect and its super clean. This is the only car I want to trade my STi in for.

excuse the IG quality lol.

Spent a good amount of time hammering out the front wheel wells to get more low. It worked pretty good! I also removed that small spot welded piece that sat on the wheel well, it allowed me to get more hammering out of the metal.

Now the Chargespeed skirts touch when I air out, and the front lip is a lot closer than it was before.

New wheels will be here next week too! Then it will be time for some better photos.

I went to the first Caffeine and Octane in Alpharetta, GA in a couple of months with some of my exotic car friends. This was the first time being there bagged so it was really funny to sit back, act like it wasn't my car and listen to the comments. I think my favorite is the multiple "how does he drive like that?"
