I seriously doubt that any car that I mod from here on out will have anything other than air ride. It is so comfertable when needed, easy to drive daily, and the performance line from Air Lift has been great regarding performance. Hopefully, more people will be open to air and be able to enjoy the low while not being worried about beating up their cars having to drive static. I came from an extremely low static car and it was a pain to daily.

I agree, problem is most suby guys like performance and dont' want to go super low. Like the VW scene all we had is low so thats what we all did. regardless anyone who wants to go low should never waste money on coils and save up for air its so much better ride/adjustability to not scrape everything to sh**.

PS I'm already getting sick of hearing about how stretched tires are bad and how air is so bad on performance etc. All of this has been proven otherwise in the past 5 years.

I've never really looked into air rides at all... what does a basic setup usually go for?

$3k? $4k? $5k?

3K-4K for the Subaru world.

It's loud only because of where my compressor is temporally located. The hatch doesn't help either. When done right, you should not hear anything in your trunk. If anything a faint faint noise.

On a side note. I started working on my wheels.

Slammed

Ya sounds good I have 120sq feet of b-quiet .
And will sound proof more if needed when I build my trunk .
Did car audio for 7 years I will put that experiance to good use .

Glad your around to answer all my questions

I don't think I will be dropped as low with the 19x10 wheels I decided on .
But will be able to enjoy clearing Speed bumps and the day to day scraping locations .

Do you plan to switch to height based control ?

That's awesome! I'm excited to see your trunk setup and to finish mine too! Judging by the quality work you've done thus far, I'm beating you'll hit this one out of the park.

As for height based system. Yes, I'll move to the height based system down the road. I just want to wait to see what Air Lift releases at Sema.
