Default how often should one datalog?

just did a stage 1 flash, but seeing some others having some knock with the possibility of bad fuel i was just curious. i get gas at the same station most of the time, so getting bad fuel is not my worry.

Datalog whenever you want to. There is no required logging interval. I usually log for 2-3 days after making a change to my tune.

I'd reccomend logging and seeing if the base stage 1 map is running well with your car.

I log it for a good ride.. .good ride meaning a long ride. Warming up the car doing 3 pulls and calling it a day isnt the same as a long ride on the highway while getting on and off... Really warms everything up good. After that I check Learning view once in a while but... set it and forget it unless you like the stress of looking for knock ;-)

Any time I change anything under the hood, or in the tune, or exhaust, or any time I feel anything unusual. I mess with my car often enough that I don't go a couple months without a logging session. Plus LV after almost every "fun" drive.

I just LV once every couple of weeks, if something shows up on there I usually go log. Like you said if any changes are made also.
