Thanks and yeah I agree. No idea why I haven't bought at least some springs... just never was a big priority for me I guess. If I do it its going to be coils, rims, sway bars, blah blah blah. Go big or go home haha

You can do springs for like 250, and install them yourself or get a shop to do it for like 150-200

damn... beaten to it... was scrolling down and was like "ok, nobody has posted about the fenders...DAMN!"

so, do auto WRX sedans come with wagon fenders? or was this in an accident and they were replaced with the wrong fenders? or maybe just something done for fun?

^^^

I had an Automatic '04, it had the wide fenders.

Ways to make your car seem Manual (from my experience)
-put a shift boot over the shifter to make it look manual :P
-let go of the gas everytime your transmission shifts (especially since you have the BOV)
-manually shift through your gears (Sequential shifter!)
-Throw the car into Neutral and let it roll a little bit at stop lights and inclines
-Tell everyone you are Flat-Foot-Shifting...aha

man..i rememebr my automatic days well!

One thing I do not miss about auto is that you really cannot get up and go from a standstill. You are basically at the mercy of the electronically controlled trans. Even revving up to 5000RPM and dropping it into gear is worthless...

You might want to look into a high stall torque converter..I almost pulled the trigger but alot of shops that do it want you to send yours in for exchange. I couldnt be without a car so I didn't do it. Your car would sit idling at 1500RPM

hahaha! yeah not gonna lie...been doing some of that just the shifting and letting the gas out everyonce and a while!

and yes the car was in an accident, and replaced with the wrong fenders. probably just a cheaper way to do it...but its different i guess!

Looks amazingly nice - I actually kind of like the wagon fenders up front, reminds me of: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...urbo/001-5.jpg

I remember everyone hating on autos, and now almost every performance car out there is auto something-or-other. The truth is auto WRX's still fly.

WOW never noticed the wagon fenders in the front. It honestly looks cleaner and nicer to me. Some days I love my 4eat but also dream about shifting whenever I want haha.

Get the pictures up for sure, wouldn't hurt to try and get a solid automatic thread going either!
