Why are you swapping? A LGT has a lot in it, just look at retrac's old LGT. Not my money so I don't care I'm just wondering.

just to be able to say i have an STi LGT. looks factor is a big driving force behind it. the VF48 can put out more than the VF 40 and the STi tmic is bigger so better cooling. pair that with my aquamist kit and i'll have a decent set up that i can be proud of.

In an 05 lgt there's nothing to swapping sti stuff compared to a Bg/bd. Only bit of wiring needed would be for the trans / diff. Unless there's a desire to drop the plastic intake manifold (which I highly suggest the op doesn't do)

Done it... I'd be happy to walk you through or give you other, easier/cheaper options.

I guess I just don't know what you are swapping. From what I got I thought you were swapping the whole engine. Are you just doing intercooler, turbo, etc?

Wow that looks so complicated compared to mine. Perfect example of what a LGT engine can do though.

Stick with the LGT manifold, flows better, has cleaner runners, and it's plastic!!! Which means all that nasty engine head is dissipated more efficently. Cooler intake temps ftmfw
