It's 4.7 or 4.8 qts or something like that if it has the squared off oil pan. If it has the smaller rounded one it's 4.5

I just put 5 in, I have the bigger pan.

There's at least 3 different EJ pans.

I think most if not all Gs had the flat bottom squared off pan. But stuff could have got swapped around over the years. They are old engines now.

My factory service manual says 4.6L.
I use 5 quarts.
