Default How long is transmission dipstick?

I bought my car and the transmission dipstick was broken. Can someone tell me how long the stock dipstick is? Maybe give me the measurements from the low and high hole to very most top rim? Is there an easier way to gauge how much is in there? I put in what should be around 3.0 L, I know it calls for 3.7 L.

You may want to fill in your profile so we know what kind of car you have.

5MT, 6MT?? auto? year?

For all we know you could be talking about a Porsche Turbo.

ok, I almost measured my 6MT dipstick but then realized you may have a 5MT... most likely not the same.
