Default Need some help on Gauges

I was just wondering where do you guys get your gauges from. I am thinking of getting boost/EGT/Oil pressure gauges. Also who can install these in town (Edmonton)?
Do you think if I get some gauges at JB, that would be a good idea or buy them over the web? Then bring them to rally subaru for install (I know is going to be very expensive if I bring it to a dealer )?

Your help and comment would be appreciated.

I am in a similar situation. I think you will find that many places in Edmonton sell gauges. From Crapy tire to Greddy dealers. I do not know what to expect from the install - easy or complex?? Are you getting pods or just bolting them to you dash with plumbing straps? It will be expensive to have anyone customize and or install. Spend an intimate few days with your dash and you may surprize yourself. Or you will wreck it... One or the other.

Randy,
I was thinking of getting a autometer 3 pod A-piller. From reading these forums they seem to fit really well. Where are you planning to get your gauges? I know JB is a dealer for autometer but who is a dealer for greddy here? I am just more worry about the install. I just know I am going to wreck it when trying to run wires from and to different places.
What other mods do you have so far? and did you do them all yourself?

Matrix motorsports - 483 3434 They run out of the Mayfield toyota dealership. I have heard good things about them.

Racing Zone - 413 8151 The guys name is Toby. He has a ripped WRX wagon. He can get anything you want - he has a combination of Greddy and Blitz gauges stating, "no one company has perfected each gauge."

You can get a complete set of Autometers for a third the cost of the fancy dancy ****.

It is all about compromise - check out my thread in this same Canadian forum. I am not sure how to put a link but here goes
click here to check it out

I think I am going to get the defi gauge pod, remove the double din sterio and add 3 more smaller guages.

Randy,

Yeah I heard of matrix motorsports, but I heard they charge alot of things plus I only though they do toyota stuff. but for sure I'll go and check it out and those other places.

So where are you planning to get your gauges?
Anyways if your doing them yourself and need an extra hand give me a shout.

Omori Malaysial ALL THE WAY !

the gauges are, for a lack of a better word ... "Perfect" they are the closest to match your dash, and the service is the best out there ... send Micheal an e-mail, you get an answer the day after (dont forget they are 12hrs ahead of us)

they are a "BIT" expensive, but i rather pay for good service and workmanship then get a ****ty product

here is my setup :

ALL ELECTRONIC omori "WRX" look
EGT,BOOST,OIL TEMP. and all hardware necessary
for around 700$ Canadian !
