Best price I found so far is $45 because its going to take "a half hour to do" lol.. Jokers.
Put your wheel bearing in the freezer overnight and press it in with a couple C clamps

 if I couldn't afford an extra $5, I probably wouldn't be eating out at all.

What about converting to a six gun setup? That was my plan if the wheel bearings ever died on my old WRX.

6Gun isnt around anymore. LIC does it now. For most people, that setup is completely overkill. Needing a wear item thats custom is a huge downside too (if a bearing does fail, you cant just run to the parts store to get one)

Wow, didn't realize they went under. If the lic is the same then it uses STI wheelbearings which should be fairly easy to find and on future replacement no press required.

Why cant subaru give the wrx simple parts to make it better? I understand the 'saving it for the sti' part but... we're talking about a few millimeters here.

That same hub could be adapted easily without a huge expense/car. The wrx doesnt need brembos but a wheel bearing shouldn't be an issue in a lighter car.

The hub still needs to be drilled to 5x100 and milled down to fit inside the hat of a 5x100 rotor.

And god forbid you damage an upright...last I heard those were on a 4-6 week lead time.

Used 5x100 uprights can be had for $50 with good wheel bearings. I have spare front uprights with brand new bearings and hubs..cost me $200 total.

The new WRXs have bolt in bearings.

My 9 year old s4 does too. Subau just likes to hold back technology for whatever reason. They have all the parts available

Its been nice having new people come around lately and hang out with the crew but I just need to bring up one thing. PLEASE do not drive like an ass hat to or from where we are having the meets. I personally will not deal with people bringing us unneeded attention. We have never had an issue with police and we are gonna keep it that way.

I'm not saying don't boost up a little on your way out on the road, just don't want to see anyone ever rip through a small parking lot like that again, nor speed back and forth the road we are meeting off of. You will give a bad impression to people who see us all hanging out. I don't drive like an idiot neither do any of the other regulars. If you think your car is a race car please keep it on the track lol.
