Yeah they gave us a good deal on our trade. We figured we shouldn't probably do it but kept coming back with better options so just figured we should do it since we didn't like the Hyundai..

Going to get a clear bra put on the both of them soon.

Scotch guarded the new impreza because it has the "ivory" interior.. I am scared just looking at it will stain it.

Tried to talk Sarah into the marine blue with black interior but she really wanted the cherry color which only comes with the ivory.

I really need to cut all these oak trees down on my property.. I can't park in my driveway with the new cars because of acorns. A big wind gust just came through and blew over my neighbors tree onto their driveway just missing their cars. But could still hear one or two acorns hitting the cars...

Doesn't seem like a big deal but they created hail like damage on the last Subaru so I can't risk it.

Jeremy I'm doing my valve covers again tomorrow to fix the leaking, I got the silicon, where would I put that, on the lip of the head or on the gasket itself? Probably a stupid question I just don't want to have to redo it a third time

The biggest thing is to clean both the mating surfaces as best as you can.

Best advice there is!

If you're good with a razor type scraper you can clean the mating surfaces with that. If that scares you run to autozone or any parts store and grab a can of gasket remover spray. Use it on a lint free rag and rub away until the mating surfaces are very clean and smooth.

As far as the rtv gasket sealant, you can run a tiny bead along the track where the gasket sits. You can also run a small bead on the gasket itself where it mates to the head.

Don't go overboard with the sealant because you don't want the excess to end up in your heads. Make sure you get the correct sealant. You want the kind that gets hard when it sets
