I had a nice trip yesterday to southern CT and this is what I brought home:


Needless to say the foz will be getting some work done in the next few days!

1 aluminum lateral? Who'd you buy those from? My friend just offered me a set of laterals with 1 aluminum link lol.

nope there is 2 aluminum and 2 steel lol. off an 05 wrx. disc swap for the rear! my stock laterals are all steel, yuck

Hell yea. all I need now is clutch and exhaust (and maybe strut bars) and the thing will be fully rebuilt. even though its a 98, its got all 05+ brakes and suspension now and a rebuilt engine. Im happy lol

Yup we are still going to have it. If its raining bad then we are going to head down to the black sheep tavern on rt 12 in Sterling for some drinks/fun. Thursday is karaoke night there lol

Anyone know if when you get new lateral link bolts (the biggg ones) if they come with the nuts?

did you try calling the dealer? when i worked there they didnt come with the bolt, but things may have changed because im pretty sure i remember there being a separate part number for the nut.

Thats exactly why I got new laterals for my swap. Spending $300 was way easier to justify than spending $130 on new bushings and having to spend hours on the 10" bolts.

Get a rear strut bar, did wonders for the hatch and certainly tightened up the wagon, needs coilovers to really plant it but the rear is getting there.

I might come with a rear sway bar and some tools...

im always down to do some work. and what did you go with for strut bars? since im not racing it or even autocrossing it i might just end up getting eBay ones i need a GC one for the front, and a GD one for the rear
