It's a little louder than stock. You might gain 5hp but that's about it. All the power in these cars is hindered by the stock downpipe. If your looking more of a power gain you could try getting a stage one open source tune or get an accessport. if you really want a power bump get a downpipe and a tune and you should be around 300whp.

Default Thursday meet

Hi Guys (and Girls)-- Well, I enjoyed the company so much I decided to register after all. I had a great time tonight and thanks for all the good information. Sorry I had to split early but ice cream was calling and I was afraid Kimballs would close. Did make it in time for a kulua chip though Hope to see y'all at another meet soon.

wait... 300whp on anything with just a dowpipe and catback? maybe I've been doing something wrong with my 02, 07, and my yet to be dyno'd '11.

my 02 with and up pipe, dp, hks 3" catback, intake, and protuned only hit 242whp, and it's a heck of a lot slower than what I'm driving now.

edit: on a mustang heartbreaker. I with dynojets were still readily available

Mega c?

Eli aggressive tuning without meth/e85 are getting close, it's not quite as easy as that but they're all in proven power, fairly impressed!

on the 2.5 with a vf52? that I might believe. Bren is hitting around 330whp on cars with my mods but its a stretch. I wouldn't believe a td04 could move that much air. it would be wheezing and probably wouldn't last that long

On the 08 plus cars most stage two are around 300 wheel with aggressive tunes putting them at around 330whp and conservative tunes around 285. My 08 with just a downpipe did 286 whp on efi's mustang dyno and I wanted a tune on the safer side. These turbos flow a lot better than any td04 did. You still lose power quick though once your high in the rev range because they run out of air. Its not uncommon to see a stage 2 car on e85 with well over 350 wheel. Just need big injectors. I would never mess with meth on these cars though just to dangerous in my opinion. Something goes wrong with your meth kit bye bye motor.

I'm a 2011 Cobb stage 2+. these turbos still don't have a large enough efficiency range to keep up anywhere after 5k rpm. the injectors are fine, but the fuel pump like a dw65 would be needed anywhere around 330whp just to keep things safe.

aem has a new meth or alcohol failsafe system that's unbeatable. if your tank goes dry or a line gets punctured it saves you from popping a motor. dsport tested it and tried to blow up a 500whp meth evo. they did anything you can imagine to make the system fail and it kept chugging along.

edit: also, the only place to get e85 is out by Logan I believe. meth or alcohol would make more sense

I have a Ots tune, catless dp, and aem cai and I'm at 298whp. I can only imagine what it would be with a real tune. Amart I might have those mufflers your looking for.
