Default What is the best 2012/2013 WRX HID kit?

I want a HID kit but I don't want to modify the existing headlight housing. Is there a kit out there that has the proper wire adapters and bulb holders that will accommodate this? I don't want to drill or modify the car but I gotta do something about these stock halogens!

HID kits are garbage and will blind people

No they won't, my friend's 2nd cousin's sister has them and I drove past them and they don't blind people.

No problem. And it automatically puts the "little stars" in it for you. Crazy. Now go research WHY HID's are bad in halogen headlights, and become INFORMED.

That was the intent of writing the question.

There's this cool little search button on the right side of the screen (or bottom if on the mobile app.)

It can be used to answer every question you could possibly think of.

If you won't search, at least poke around this section for a little while.

Ya, looked and all i saw pointed to retrofit kits and kits that required modification to the stock housings. For what is was worth I figured there would be someone who could say yay or nay. Possibly direct me to a link. Instead I get some bs childish responses. I work nearly 80hrs a week and don't have the time for endless research. Anyways....

....in other words, you want others to do the leg work and spoon feed you all of the information within this thread. Personally, I refuse to help folks who don't even want to make an effort to help themselves.

No I was hoping someone else had already gone through this and could lend a hand. The same as if I had knowledge about something...I would br happy pass it along and save someone the aggravation. It's not a question of "spoon feeding". It's more like help a brother out. I see this forum is not much better than Facebook, people just looking for an excuse to be insulting and childish. I thought this was the while purpose if NASIOC, guess not. L8ter, if I have to find it anyways I don't need this place

Meh. The topic has been covered over and over again, simple. I told you what to search for, you could even use google for it.

"Why are HID's bad in HALOGEN housings?" I don't think we could spoon feed it any easier, since you searched.

....nah, it's spoon feeding no matter how you try to dress it up. Folks even provided you links and tips for your research.

In either case, doesn't look like you had anything to contribute here anyhow. ....buh bye.

Yea go on the retro fit source and find the morimoto retro quick system. Perfect settup. True retro fit for a good price. And they're pre aligned or something so you don't have to align anything. Pre drilled no cutting. Straight bolt on
