has any calgary guys took their mildly modded 5-speed 2.5RS to race city before? i want to know what your times was and what mods you have.

a friend with a 99 5-speed 2.5RS and myself with a 00 automatic 2.5RS ran really bad times. i mean really bad... correction numbers was somewhere in the 4000+ ft range from the heat and everything...

Sounds about right if it was warm enough. Calgary proper is around 3000ft above sea level. Probably wouldn't take much to get the correction factor to 4000.

yo markus. it was so hot out tonight. i had the vents and scoop open. when i put my hand on the intake tube it was almost hot enough to burn me. crazy.

drag racing is harder than what most people think. it was also my first time out.
either way.
next year i'm going to do suspension and try auto-x.

2.5RS is very weak out on the drag strip.
