There are things more important than material possessions, but questions like this can point to other potential issues. Rather than responding with "no", I think I'd ask what caused her to ask the question. Perhaps she thinks the car is unsafe (we know it has pretty effective safety features, but not all do). Maybe she's concerned about the kind of driving she thinks or assumes happens when she's not around. Maybe she would prefer money spent on a car like this would be spent elsewhere. Whatever the reason, talking about why she had the question, instead of just shutting it down, leads to more effective communication and understanding.

A person who would ask someone to give up something they love without some strong reasons is not someone I'd be interested in dating. It's not about the material possessions, but about being forced to choose without a strong need.

If you love me, you will never ask me to sell my car or choose. Cause baby, you will lose.

Wrong. If someone truly loves you they would never ask you to give up something you love just to make them happy. I mean that doesn't even make sense. Love me as I am or love somebody else. Good move kicking her to the curb. There's a girl out there that will love how much you love your car, even if she doesn't necessarily love it herself.

Back on topic: When you drive faster in the rain than you do when it's dry.

On topic/. Girl i was talking to asked me a stupid question and the conversation goes as follows.

Her: if we get serious, would you considering selling your car?"
Me : no...
Her: why?
Me: because I love my car.
Her: but if you loved me you would do what makes me happy.
Me: but I don't love you.
Her: but you will if we last.
Me: not as much as I love my car.

I think he meant the part about never loving a girl as much as your boosted econobox.

To Skghori/Equiraptor

This request was a red flag to me and he reason was"it's not manly" I did not ask in that particular conversation because it had come up at previous times. To me that is not a just reason.

*Edit* Rex8 I have a wrb bugeye sedan. It has been my dream car since I was about 13.

To Soccer

You are an idiot.

Yeah he's never getting rid of it. He's installing a TRE diff next month. We've noticed that all the IX's in our area for sale are going up in price.

When you always pick the wrx sti in Forza or Grand Turismo and laugh when you see how inaccurate the wrx/sti is in games like NEed for Speed.
