When you significant other loves riding in your subie and learns to differentiate the sound of I-4 and boxer engines..

When someone offers to drive but you refuse, and although you want to save gas... Damnit you just love driving your subie .

Does that mean you'll be canceling your order ? Hang in there brother.

You realize AWD is good for not getting stuck. Our cars still stop in the snow like any other car, like s***. So while you get going fast... good luck stopping.

when you start wondering how many mods you can get away with before having to explain the account balance to your wife, or trying to think of plausible ways for "Santa" to have brought them... and you're Jewish

when the difference between driving the way you like and driving to save gas is < 1mpg difference

when 90 miles a day for a commute that's only 20 in each direction seems perfectly logical

when you try to use just enough gas to have the pump read $50.00 when it cuts off

when you try to achieve the $50.00 pump shut off every 3 days

when you look at other WRX's and STi's and smile, but scorn all non turbo'ed Subie's like they're second class citizens...unless they waive first.

when 65mph in 2nd gear REALLY IS AN OPTION between lights

When you apologize for how bumpy the ride is going to be to passengers because the coilovers/suspension are set for better handling and not for their comfort.
