When you wash your car and shine your mudflaps and weather tech floor liners just so they look new again after mud being caked to them for weeks.

Yep, it's pretty cool. There are trade offs but, that's OK. I've been on it with the built hybrid and VF39 for a year now, really glad I did it. I love the looks when people walk by and see the flex fuel badge on the lift gate.

You know you drive a WRX/STi when.......Your car smells like tequila and you don't drink!

Quick question what do you do when there are no e85 gas stations? Can you run 93 with an additive or do you just have to stay local?

When I was tuned I had a 93 tune and a separate E85 tune made. It's best of both worlds. Run your tank down till the light comes on. Then, fill up on the 93. Be sure to stay out of boost for that tank and then your good. I also keep a 1.5 gal. tank for longer trips.

You know you drive a WRX/STi when.......Your 3 sons fight over who rides with daddy. Because, 3 car seats can't fit in the back. Until, the older 2 get out of there boosters.

No idea if anyone else does this, but when you drive to forget something or to take your mind off something bad in your life because when you're alone on the road in your sti, everything bad just goes away. Been going through hard times lately, and I can say that nothing makes me feel better than going out on the winding back roads at 2AM with no sound on except the sound of the roaring exhaust. It doesn't matter where I'm going as long as I'm in my car, escaping from reality.

I am going to have to agree with you. I have desired this car for so long, even after already having owned one,and now that ive got one again, I have no want for any other car that i would want to drive on the road. Now dont get me wrong there are quite a few i would love to own strictly for track use or for just plain badassness, but for driving on the street. I think im quite satisfied.

This. And on top of that, thes cars have quite the head turn factor.

Yep. At least in a realistic sense. If I had more money, I would honestly just buy an older BMW or WRX to have as a dedicated track car. I will never have the money to buy a Ferrari or anything like that, so I don't have any real desire to own one.
