When you check the forecast and the possibility of rain the next day gets you wondering if you really need to drive to work tomorrow

When a big storm cell causes your work to lose power, your boss sends you home until the power goes back on, and you just cruise around the area for a couple hours and take pictures of your car on deserted side streets, and see if you can find any big puddles to play in.

When you can be heard a mile from your destination!

When complete strangers want a ride.

The stares you get pulling away from a stop sign/red light

Turbo spool > Radio any day

I could go on and on, had fun reading a few of these. Most of which, so true!!!

Proud Subaru owner!!

My Wrx is beat up looking, (needs paint) from my accident, couple parts are primed like black and gray, cars silver. Anyways, when I still get compliments on it, it just makes my day

I know this goes for many car enthusiasts, but when you just can't fully accept a compliment about your wrx when you know there's imperfections haha

When you get excited over a customer who brought his Shelby Cobra GT500, comments about how "surprisingly fast WRX's are".

Having owned a gt500 and a supersnake and now owning a bugeye wrx.... You better hope its snowing/raining or it's over. Even in the tight twisties that supercharger just winds so quickly it's silly. My super snake pulled night and day harder than my wrx. Like a 50cc scooter to an r6 straight line.

But I will agree... Weather with nitto nt05r's on it you better hope its dry, I hydroplaned once in a light rain going down the freeway, nothing quite as scary as doughnuts on a freeway and ending up facing the wrong direction.

He was an older guy so that wasn't into the Mustang vs. import dick measuring contest. Said his coworker had a Legacy GT, we chatted about how big of tools kids in their riced out Honda's were that always tried to race while we put his axle back on.

He did also compliment the looks of my car, and how Subaru's AWD system was top notch.

That being said I have a soft spot for GT500's and would love to own one, for a daily though I'll take my bugeye.

I love talking to car guys, who regardless of the make appreciate all types of performance cars.

Bugeye FTW lol, I like mustangs but only 88-93 notches and hatches. Not a fan of the newer body. Every tool seems to have one in NYC lol

When you trained your little sister to spot Subarus

When you're genuinely touched when she tells you she wants a subie as her first car
