When a gas station is no longer a place to just get gas but also a time to check your oil level

It's funny, every manual instructs to check oil on filling up, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone even pop their hood at the gas station.

When you think that anything more than 18" rims is stupid.

When you spend more time looking at your tach than the speedo.

You know you drive a Wrx when you get mad at other drivers on the interstate for not doing 80+ mph in a downpour/blizzard.

-you get pulled over for no reason other than you sounded like you were going to fast.

-you move to a new town and have to drive to 6 differet gas stations to find gas.

-your co-workers give you crap about having a "bookshelf" on your car.

-you know the conversion from MPa to psi.

-you have to make a decision to work on paying student loans while still in school, or mods for your car, and worry about the loans when you graduate.

-you hate the drive home because it consists mostly on a 26 mile straight stretch :/

-you have more horsepower per liter than 90% of cars on the market.

-you feel bad because you missed someone waving at you from another scoob.

-you read through this whole post at once and kind of cheered to yourself when you realized that russian douche is banned.

-your friends buys a wrx/sti and constantly asks you for advice about which one to get.

How is the braking and hydroplaning of a WRX any different from any other car? It's all about the tires, not the car.

Well i know for a fact, my sti handles 50x better than my 08 si in snow with same tires.

Couldnt have anything to do with the awd and drivetrain?

A lot of manuals say that, not just wrx/sti's

Yes overall handling will be better with the torque split from the diff and reduced weight transfer from the stiffer suspension. I am not questioning that I would rather be in my WRX than any other car during bad weather. I was just trying to make the point that a WRX is not a license to bad weather invulnerability. Same reasoning why you see so many trucks stuck during snow storms, people think that its magic. When you have to brake in an emergency, AWD and Brembos don't come into play.

Sorry to thread-jack. Back to the topic at hand.......

Well yea, the awd is nice but it isn't as big a help as you think.
I had no problem driving my prelude in snow because I used proper tires.

Default You know....

-When an old man in a 7-series rolls his window down at the light to play 20 questions before the light turns green.

-When you accelerate just to decelerate and almost orgasm hearing that exhaust go wahpapadadadddaad.

-When you slowly gain on your boyʻs Ek civic coupe (whale **** intake and full exhaust) by accelerating using the cruise control.

-When your car takes more baths than your dog does.

-Speaking of dogs; when your dog tucks her tail between her legs when you start your car.
