The intercooler spray button. 2nd gen STIs have a button next to the cruise control that sprays water on your intercooler for lower intake temps. Not sure about the new ones.

When you have head gasket problems around 60k miles.
When it won't last you past 100k without major engine/tranny problems.
When you feel like your driving 100mph when you actually going 45mph because of all the wind noise.
When you notice the you overpaid for a POS Subaru go cart and sell it to buy a real car!
Lol Subaru truly is a ****ty car!! Never again!!!

I'll take ANY Honda product ANY day over ANY Subaru crap!
A rusted 1984 civic will outlast and be more reliable the. A brand new sti/wrx!

...when you finally just give up on chasing rattles.
...when you get used to walking out of movie theaters and malls to find a group of kids looking at your car
...when you get used to mothers protecting their children when they hear your exhaust no matter how slow you drive.

When you roll down your window when another wrx is passing you just so you know how your own exhaust sounds from the outside.

You've had someone give you an awkward look after telling them you're headed out "just for a drive"

I got a warning for an on ramp pull. He said I accelerated in a manner that was dangerous.

I still don't see how they can say anything when I'm just getting up to speed but according to him it fits into the grey area called "driving erratically"

YES! to 1, but I relapse sometimes.

YES to 2, but its usually scum bags pondering how they should key or steal it.

YES to 3 x infiinity, but you don't even need an exhaust, moms/grandmothers/baby sitters...I figure they see the STI's aggressive styling and think were going to jump out, eat the children, cut em up, then drive off in a fit of rage! Makes me so upset, because I always try and go a slow as possible, smile/wave, say hello...but they always look back at me like I just ran over thier mail box.

Yeah if I was a cop, I'd pull myself over for the ramp pulls. Though I may not ticket myself if there were no other cars on the ramp... just a warning.
