Is this the wife harping on you as you drive down the road because of all the $$ you've spent?

I must be one of the lucky ones when it comes to wives. Her birthday is coming up in November - I asked her what she wants this year.

Her answer: why don't you get something for your WRX

Ditto! I think its funny when guys say" gotta talk to the wife"??? Never understood that?! Your not a little kid to be asking anymore. You think the wife ask's you to get her nails done or hair?? Ha ha

its a trap! get something for your car but also get her a bouquet of roses or some other stupid thing women like for some reason. just saying. she might be cool, but you have to know she still wants something.

or send something to her work so everyone has to be made aware. chicks dig rubbing it in other chick's faces.

I purchased my '11 WRX on my wife's birthday and she was excited about it... She's a keeper.

Anyway... You know you drive a STI/WRX when all you think about when driving through a construction zone is slaloming through the road cones.

Especially when it is one lane and you're stuck behind a semi going like 15 mph... I actually found myself weaving in my lane the other day in timing with the cones, not on purpose.

When u buy it to have a fast fun car the handles amazing, throw tens of thousands of dollars making it faster and handle yet for some reason never and I mean never exceed the speed limit, taking turns aggressively or race someone on the street.

Like when you are stuck behind someone going 30 in a 55, driving a POS car, with NASCAR stickers all over the back of it.

Everytime I set off an alarm in a place where there's a lot of people, I find myself sinking into the seat with a, " Yea... that was me, my bad :S " kind of face.
