That was the biggest thing slowin me down way back when we did fontana ax. Had a pro scca guy ride along with me. And he said the same thing. Gas or brakes. Sure enough. Later in the day. I coasted less and was able to shave off like 5 seconds.

So thank you to the three of us who showed up who actually drove the scoobie.. Hobbs wasn't one of them. To the guy who drove the silver STI around the parking lot, parked for 5 minutes and then left, we are sorry you didn't see our one car.. Anyways it was alright.

Ya, as I said. Briefly had the axleback on, start up and idle were amazingly tame. Definitely south OC cop friendly. Then blipped the throttle and it became loud. Very loud. Took it for a spin down the street, fwy, one exit down, exited and switched back to my SPT. Didnt exchange it with the guy.
To me it kinda sounded as there is a drone during the hwy speeds ...Will have to go for a ride with someone...

There is tremendous drone on the freeway, I had that exhaust for probably 6 months. I don't know of a loud exhaust that doesn't drone on the freeway.

Well, whats the alternative then? Just like the stiff suspension... Or my Type95 class, no kick, BUT rapid fire/red dot make up for it... (gotta love the every day life comparisons to the MW3 [SCIC] work).
