Default 09 sti aftermarket turbo heatshield

Looking to buy an aftermarket turbo heatshield, but before I do I wanted to check if anybody had one laying around I could buy off their hands.

Someone had an SPT turbo heatshield on the SA Craigslist for quite a while. You might check whether it's still available. I think I found it by searching Craigslist auto parts for WRX or STI.

I found the ad: http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/pts/2929330114.html

Note: the SPT heatsheild does require the original factory heatsheild because it reuses some mounting points that are only tapped into the original heatsheild and not on the heatsheild mounting brackets. If you have an aftermarket DP, you'll need to cut your factory shield to clear the DP and then install the SPT sheild. That's what I had to do since I'm running a Cobb DP on my LGT.

yeah I found a thread on how to re-use the factory HS although it does require some cutting. I believe I tossed mine but I have a buddy who is going to do an exhaust system and give me his. I texted the person selling the spt HS it adds a nice final touch to it
