Default clutch slip question

so i know my clutch is slipping, it began a few days ago, if i put my foot down in higher gears the rpms would shoot up without the speed increasing, and while trying to go up hills it would slip unless i downshifted. Here's the situation though, it seems like it only does this after it has sat for several hours, mainly just overnight, on my way to class in the morning it will slip but then by the time i get to the college it seems normal, and works fine the rest of the day, so my question is, is this normal? or could this mean it is not my clutch, there is 122,xxx miles on the clutch and i have all the symptoms of a slipping clutch, any opinions are appreciated, thank you.

It's the clutch. Nothing else in the driveline will slip like that except the tires. If it was something else, the car wouldn't be moving at all. The clutch might be worn out, or you might have an oil leak somewhere that is coating the clutch with oil. Either way, the fix is about the same. Replace the clutch, and, if needed, fix the oil leak.
