Default EJ20G swap crank but no start - HELP!

I recently replaced my dead EJ20G and fubar'd bulkhead harness in my GC that hasn't ran for roughly 3 years. The motor I got from Scobaru on NASIOC, and saw the motor run shortly before it was pulled, so I know the motor is good. I've tested voltage from the ECU for injectors, maf, etc. Fuel pump DOES engage when the key is turned, and the vehicle DOES crank. When I initially attempted the start the car I had oil, battery, & (!) warning lights. I tried jumping the car thinking the juice was too low, and that didn't work. I tried to push start the car, and that also didn't work. Since push starting the car, the only light I have on the cluster now is the defrost light (which is extra odd seeing as I do not even have the cluster surround installed, to be able to have the defrost button depressed, nor do I have the wire ran to the back of the vehicle for defrost.

The only thing that worries me is that I changed the timing belt before I installed the engine, and i'm starting to think (after EVERYONE has said it) that timing may be off. Can anyone show me some pictures of a PROPERLY installed timing belt (I know cam gears are lined up, i'm worried about crank).

Also, does anyone have any suggestions? I've checked all fuses as well.

First thing is to fix the no lights on the dash issue. Very likely it's the main relay that's not working.

The service manual has troubleshooting steps for exactly this situation - it's described as no power to ECU IIRC.

Once you have the CEL showing with the ignition on, you can get to troubleshooting the timing.

If you don't have a CEL with the key on engine off the ecu isn't powered up and working.

You probably have a bad or missing ground or didn't plug something in.

The thing is I DID have cel before attempting push start. Ecu is sending out voltage to multiple signals, injectors are flickering noid light.

Also verified that timing is correct.

Car starts. Runs HORRIBLE, but starts, and idles (can't rev) still got nothing on the cluster, starting to wonder if the cluster is the issue.
