I will agree on the new Mustang being a fun car. The view lines and ergonomics in it are terrible though. Not having a telescoping steering wheel killed it for me when I was shopping for the last car and bought my WRX.

I did find out that my local dealership didn't have any pre-orders for the BRZ though. Should have two AT Limited models coming in soon, will sit in one see if it fits and talk with them about costs to get them to trade one for a MT Premium. Of course I was interested in the RX-8 when I bought the WRX but the salesman basically told me not to buy one, very poor sales tactic.

I just traded my mustang in for the brz and would be lying if I said I liked the mustang more... The brz is just such a beautiful car to drive. Yes, slightly underpowered but I hardly notice. I honestly feel it is quicker than the mustang!

$30k V6 mustang? why would you not spend an extra $2k and get a 5.0 with the brembo package? I understand you can get a striped down V6 with track pack for under 26k but you are going to have to special order it. Good luck finding that car on the lot, most mustangs at ford are going to be the striped down V6 with auto because thats the market.

Unless its got 5.0 on the side, I'll take the BRZ.

Same here, I plan to pick one up in 2-4 years.

What do you think the prices will come down to? Let's speculate

The driving difference is completely different. They only compared the two due to price. You're best finding which car you prefer driving and just get that.
