To depressed to stop by while debating engine rebuild or warranty work. =(

In parts alone, what i want to do is about 3 months pay... why did i have to have a family?!?!

Piston choice pretty much comes down to what you want to do with the car. If you're looking to just have it as a daily, and not a track warrior, etc., most CP, Manley, JE, etc pistons will be fine. I can't say Cosworth is worth the extra $$$ - you're mainly paying for a name brand.

What about the green coating on the cosworth piston sides? I thought it adds protection from wear.

You can have that coating added to any piston by Swaintech, etc. That one feature on the Cosworth doesn't make me justify spending that much more money.

They're still awesome quality and a great piston, just saying that there are equally strong, less expensive options
