So I got my rhd converted ej20g swapped gc running. But rough. And my cluster seems to be dead. I was wondering I there was any way to wire an led for the cel function. Just as a temporary solution so I can get the car running right while I wait for a cluster

you can find the CEL wire coming out of the ECU, the ECU toggles the Ground. so you have to use a small bulb or LED (i have an LED testlight that i have used many times) connect the testlight to power and touch the other end to the CEL wire from the ECU.
connect your test connectors and read the flashes... Dont use a large testlight. it may pull more current that the ECU wants to give out. an LED is best. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com |
