Question Please help... car won't start...

I tried to install Racing Pedals that GLOW and now my car won't start.
This is what I did:
With the light tester, I found the power wired from the fog light switch and the ground wire from a black wire coming down the driver side window panel. The pedals lights work fine. Then I try to start my car and nothing happens. No clicks or sounds...
I thought my battery is low. Therefore, I jumped the battery and still it won't start.
Then I unplug everything and still the car won't start.
I checked the power to the fog light switch and it is ok.
Then I open up the black wire (That I thought was a ground wire.) and it is two wires in one. It is like your TV cable wire. The outside is wrapped around with aluminum wire and in the middle is a shielded copper wire.
Therefore, I unwrapped the outside wires and connected them together and connected the copper wires together.
Still my car won't start. I armed and disarmed my alarm and still no luck...
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thank You, Tom (TNT_Rocks Blue RS)

I know...LOL.. My car don't love me anymore...

Yes... I checked all the fuses and everything is working fine.
I just can't get it to start.

Can I accidentally fry the starter kill switch on my alarm?
If yes, how can I buy pass it. Therefore, I can get the car started to take her to the shop...

Thanks, Tom
