Vehicle: 2006 WRX
Motor: 2.5L MPS build, pistons, rods, balanced, exhaust cams, springs
Turbo: FP HTA68
Boost: 22psi
Transmission: Stock 5 Speed
Redline: 7700
Fuel: Pump 92
Upgrades:
HTA68 with 10cm hotside installed by Dom, Helix catted downpipe, STi intercooler, Invidia Q300 catback, Gimmick inlet hose, 725cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump, APS Cold air intake, Agency Power UEL header, TGV deletes, Grimmspeed Uppipe, Prosport MBC for hybrid boost control.
Driveline Modifications: ACT street clutch
Suspension Modifications: Whiteline F/R swaybars, Stoptech stage 2 brakes
Tires: Federal SS595 215/45/17 on stock WRX wheels.
Weight: 3440 + 170 driver = 3610 lbs. (Also has cargo box upgrade. )

50-100MPH: 5.97 sec

Used Quicktime movie player at 30fps to count seconds. Here is the link:

http://www.picturethis.name/pull.m4v

I tried a 2-3 pull and a 3-4 pull, but the box really pulled me down between shifts. This best time is a 3rd gear pull.

As you can see, my cargo box is significant, plus it tilts up a little, the better to catch the wind. Given the weight (the car had a full tank and a lot of waterski gear loaded up) and wind resistance, I'm pretty happy with the time.

I wish! I'll probably still have this one in 2016. Just turned over 100k (motor has about 10k).

I went out and did an other pull with the accel timer set for 80-160 kph. I could use 3rd and 4th so I thought it would be faster and I knocked off a few tenths:

Hey xluben, what a bunch of retards in the other thread you tried to do with the voting of the whp. Stupid and ignorant people that most likely got the thread closed. This one seems to be running smoother though. I just like reading some info anyway. Just my thoughts.

I thought it was interesting data, but apparently not everyone agreed. Oh well.

Maybe they were jealous because your car is quick as ****take and theirs isn't with the mods they did. But seriously, there were some people who just didn't understand what you were trying to do. It's sad. I'm no modder like a lot of people here, I just like reading stats and seeing some pics of cars but some shouldn't even be in those threads let alone making any comments that aren't relevant. Anyway I enjoy your car, looks good, and keep up the cool testing and photo ops. Good work everyone!

That post had nothing to do with how fast anyone's individual car was. You could not see who chose which answers in the poll.

Very true. Stop yelling at me. Hehe! I was combining the two posts then. Just reading what those clowns were posting in there and then with this thread. Either way, who cares. It was a good thought that brought out the morons.

My car needs a spring cleaning. Maybe I'll take off the roof rack and go do a comparison.

I'll need a better video than that. Too far away. Also, it looked like you didn't make it to 100mph (but I'd need a better video to know for sure).

I did another pull on low boost starting on 3rd gear. This was at 24psi vs 22psi on previous run. Starting on 3rd gear is killing me plus that shift at the end . It seems that starting on 2nd is a must plus flat foot shifting like speeding bullet. I can't wait to get my fuel pump so I can turn it up safely.

Yeah. Mine are FFS'd too. Saves a lot of time. Starting in 2nd on the 5 speed saves a bit too.
